Ok, so I am going out of town for Christmas on Dec. 13th. I can't take any more hat orders because I won't be able to finish them in time. Please email me after the New Year for any orders and I will be happy to make you a cap. By this time I should also have my long- overdue website up with online ordering. Very excited about that!

I finally found some time to step away from my sewing machine to post some new info on here. Thanks to everyone who has spread the word about my caps on the forums. I am swimming in hat orders! Its great! If you live in or near Portland, Oregon here are two events that you can find me at with a bunch of caps for sale:
Portland Bike Craft Fair & SHIFT Winter Social
Wednesday Dec. 7, 2005 4-10 PM
@ Urban Grind Coffee 2214 NE Oregon (2 blocks North of Sandy Blvd.)
Sunday Dec. 11, 2005 Noon-6 PM
@ Wonder Ballroom 128 NE Russell St.
These should be fun events with lots of cool gifts from local artists for sale. I apologize for not getting a real website posted soon enough with online ordering. But, don't fret its in the works. I hope to have a site up and running by the new year. In the meantime, here are some more photos of some recent caps I have made. Really excited about the two tone numbers.
Also I am posting a photo of my new frankenstein scorcher bike. Its so comfy to ride.

Now that the winter is coming I am busy with many custom orders for my wool cycling caps. Thank you to all who have placed orders and given me feedback! I see that there is a good demand for cycling apparel that goes beyond the spandex, bright colors and loud advertisements that make cyclists into big billboards on 2 wheels. I am trying to come up with some new ideas for apparel other than hats but for the moment the hats are keeping me busy.
I have one new style that is based on those millitary type caps you see a lot of people wearing. Mine is cooler though because it comes in many more colors than just olive-drab. (Because my stock is always changing you can email me to find out what colors I have available.) This new millitary style cap is pictured. Its the grey one.
Because I wanted the bills in my caps to be more durable I have begun using a heavier weight of plastic. The downside to this is that I can't do the decorative stitching on the bill anymore because my machine isn't strong enough.
Here is also a photo of a black version of my Merino wool knit 8 panel cap with headband style earflap. These have been quite popular. They are based on some vintage winter cycling caps I once saw.
Keep my caps in mind for gifts for friends and family during the holidays and please email me with any orders or questions at email@example.com. I am leaving town on December 13th and won't be back till after Christmas so get your orders in before then.
